The Sutak starts out after Missal starts and continues until or shortly after Madrasah ends. Also, the Sutak should only consider three Muhurats, or around two hours and twenty-four minutes, for teenagers, the elderly, and people who are ill.

Assuming that Lakshmi Puja is not allowed throughout Grahan, including the Sutak period, Sutak does not apply for Lakshmi Puja during Pradosh due to its timings.
