History of Siddhi Vinayak Temple

Lakshman Vithu was the main architect behind the creation of Siddhi Vinayak Temple. The Siddhi Vinayaka temple is believed to have been built by Lord Vishnu, though it was later rebuilt by the Peshwas. With his donations, he could finally kill those devils. Subsequently, that place is called Siddhatek and Lord Ganesha is called Siddhi Vinayak.
