When The Lady Kept a Handful Of Mud In Lord Vishnu’s Hand
Moreover, Lord Vishnu disguised himself as Sage or Sadhu to teach her a lesson. Lord Vishnu asked for food, but the lady kept a handful of mud in Lord Vishnu’s hand. A few days later, the lady died and came to Baikunth Dham. There, she received an empty hut and a mango tree. She was disappointed and asked why she was given an empty hut despite worshipping Lord Vishnu.
Later, Lord Vishnu appeared and explained that she had not received anything valuable since she had never donated food to Brahmins.
