Shani Pradosh Vrat Katha
Once lived a merchant who was commonly known by the name Sethji. He had all the comforts and luxuries in his life but lacked a child. He used to feel often sad about not having a child and would shed tears thinking about it. However, one day, he and his wife, Sethni, set out for a Tirth Yatra (pilgrimage site), hoping to fulfil their desire.
While on their way, they met Sadhu, who was in a deep meditative state. They waited for him to come to his senses and seek his blessings before starting the journey. Moreover, while they sat there for a long time, Sadhu came out of his meditative state and saw that the couple had been waiting for a long time.
Before they could say anything, Sadhu sensed their troubles and advised them to observe Shani Pradosh Vrat. They agreed, sought his blessings, and set out for their journey. A few days later, they returned and performed the Shani Pradosh Vrat, which later blessed them with a baby boy.
