• Onakkodi (New Clothes)

Families buy and gift each other new clothes on Chodhi, a ritual called Onakkodi. Men typically wear a traditional attire called Mundu, while females wear Kasavu sarees (creamy white with golden borders), and young girls wear Pattu Pavada.
