Considering this formula, let us calculate the Ayanamsa for the date 01-4-2024 (1st April 2001). But first, we need to calculate the value of A and B.

A= 16.90709 x 2.001/10000 - 0.757371 x 2.001/1000 x 2.001/1000 - 6.92416100010001000

A = 16.90709 x 2.009/1000 – 0.757371 x 2.009/1000 x 2.009/1000 - 6.92416

A = 33.96634381 – 3.056810703 - 6.92416

A = 23.9853731

Now, we calculate the values of ‘B’. Using the formula B above, we get the following:

B = 6.5 x 1.1574074/1000= 7.5231481/1000

B = 0.0075231481

Ayanamsa = A + B = 23.9853731 + 0.0075231481 = 23.9928962

Now that we have the Ayanamsa in degrees, we have to convert this figure into minutes and seconds. After the calculation, we will learn the Ayanamsa value. So, the real value of Ayanamsa is 23 degrees, 59 minutes and 34 seconds.
