Grihya sutras are a set of Hindu scriptures. These scriptures describe the domestic religious rituals performed in the daily household.
The earliest known text dates back to the 3rd century BCE. Moreover, the latest known text was composed in the 11th century CE.
Some of the most notable commentaries include; Sayana (14th century CE), Haradatta (10th century CE), and Bhattabhaskara (9th century CE).
